Twitter Q+A sessions usually provide some level of entertainment or fun. But nothing could quite prepare us for the time 50 Shades of Grey author E.L James took to social media for such an occasion.
Not only was she utterly destroyed by the Twitterati but the whole point of the session was totally forgotten. Top marks to the P.R team that managed to dream up the hashtag #AskELJames though, as it now provides hours of entertainment.
In case you missed it – here are a few of the best that range from questioning her ability to write, to her views on relationships and her favourite shade of grey…after all there’s 50 Shades to choose from!
When Q+A goes wrong…
#AskELJames How does it feel to have actually written a worse love story than Twilight? That is real skill.

I have no interest in 50 Shades of Grey, so I won't be reading it. Consider this option instead of bullying the author through #AskELJames

#AskELJames you do realize that if Grey wasn't a billionaire, the 50 Shades trilogy would be one hell of a Law & Order episode?
