As he prepares to don a black-suit as the world’s most famous spy for the last time, Daniel Craig has revealed he could never be friends with 007 in real life.
Not that all of the womanising would put him off, more the relentless killing and violence!
He kills people three times a week
After sitting down to do an ITV interview with Jonathan Ross ahead of the forthcoming James Bond blockbuster Spectre, Craig provided a unique insight into the character he has portrayed on the big screen for a decade.
Spectre from director Sam Mendes will be the fourth and final time that Craig has portrayed the iconic spy, after starring in Casino Royal, Quantum of Solace and Skyfall.
When asked by host Ross if Bond would be someone he would avoid because he is so emotionally closed. Craig jokingly responded:
That would be low down the list… The fact that he kills people three times a week though…
It’s one of those things – he’s fun at a party but don’t stay too late.
The 47-year-old actor talked about everything in the film, including Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Christoph Waltz, adding that the latter “gave a beautiful performance”.
Fans are also set to be wowed with another array of cool gadgets, although Craig gave little away in terms of hints…
There’s certainly plenty to look forward to though… check out the trailer:
