We look behind the scenes of the Hallmark film with Catherine Bell.
Earlier this year, The Hallmark Channel announced at a press conference that former-Good Witch, Catherine Bell would be starring alongside Victor Webster in the forthcoming Gold Crown Christmas week movie.
At the time, I think it’s fairly safe to say that the title left many of us scratching our heads. “Love Finds A Way” certainly didn’t scream “Christmas”. Well, it appears Hallmark have come to the same conclusion, renaming the project “Home For Christmas Day”.
The film stars Catherine Bell, who is best known for her role as the beautiful and talented military attorney Lt. Sarah ‘Mac’ MacKenzie on the 90’s drama series “JAG”, her work as Denise Sherwood in Army Wives and for her stint as The Good Witch, starring as Cassandra “Cassie” Nightingale.
Catherine Bell was originally born in London but soon moved to Los Angeles with her parents when she was only 3 years old. She didn’t get into acting right away. She started off studying biomedical engineering at UCLA but soon ventured into modelling. This very quickly led to her getting recognised in both the US and across the pond.
Expanding on her modelling successes, she began working on her acting career which was took off shortly afterwards.
Catherine Bell’s feature film credits include the hilarious Jim Carrey vehicle, “Bruce Almighty” and she went on to star opposite Steve Carrell in the sequel, “Evan Almighty.”
Bell, currently lives in Southern California with her two children
